Joseph
Joseph Vazquez is the owner and lead trainer at Tip Top K9 Kansas City. The first dog he ever trained was a Sheepadoodle — he worked with her from the very beginning and watched her go from knowing nothing to fully obedient. Seeing that change is what made the decision for him: this was the work he wanted to do, helping families build the relationship with their dog they'd always wanted. Seven years and more than 1,500 dogs later, the hard cases are the ones he takes personally. One that still stands out is Anna, a Rottweiler who would snarl and snap when asked to lie down and guarded objects around the house. Her family had young kids and needed to know everyone could live together safely. Anna took longer than most — but by the end she could hold a place command around the children and walk away from the things she used to guard. That kind of transformation is the whole point. Joseph doesn't lean on paper certifications. At Tip Top K9, every trainer is trained in-house from start to finish — our results with real dogs are our credential. He specializes in dog and people aggression, reactivity, resource guarding, and anxiety, alongside the everyday obedience most families come for. He lives in Blue Springs with his own crew — Demi the chocolate Lab, MJ the French Bulldog, Duke the blue heeler mix, and Raven Jean the mini poodle — and moved to Kansas City for a simple reason: to give more dogs a second, or even third, chance at the life they deserve.
